Lock Individual Chats - WhatLo 2.0

This application allows users to secure specific WhatsApp conversations with a password without locking the entire application. Additionally, it supports fingerprint authentication for devices equipped with a fingerprint sensor.

For Android phones other than stock versions (e.g., Redmi, Honor, Oppo), it is necessary to lock the app in memory to prevent the Android system from killing the background service.

To lock conversations, follow these steps:

• Open the recent apps menu.
• Swipe down on the app of interest.
• Press the lock button.

Upon the initial setup, users are prompted to create a password. By granting the READ_CONTACTS permission, the application accesses WhatsApp contacts for convenient listing. Users can then secure specific contacts or group chats by selecting the lock icon next to the contact. Use the Plus Icon in the bottom left corner to secure group chats. Notably, the app does not have Internet Permission, ensuring all data remains secure without online transfer.
